Teaching music has been a big part of my life for nearly 15 years. I have had the opportunity to work with many different experience levels, age ranges, instruments, and playing styles and have developed an education philosophy centered on the students' needs. My job as your teacher should be to help you reach your goals on your instrument, not to just imprint my techniques on to you. For me playing music is truly one of the best things there is in life and the perfect vehicle for self expression. It makes me very happy if I can be a part of helping a student find that for themselves.
I offer lessons for double bass, bass guitar, acoustic and electric guitar, cello, mandolin, and ukulele. I have experience playing and teaching many different styles of music including European classical, jazz, rock, pop, soul, folk, bluegrass, and country.
